The first webinar, titled «Bidirectional Charging of Electric Vehicles: A Decentralized Energy Resource for System Services,» was designed specifically for Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Distribution System Operators (DSOs), and National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) to explore the transformative potential of bidirectional charging of electric vehicles in contributing to system services.

The webinar provided an overview of crucial EU legislative provisions enabling Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) to participate in System Services, and it mapped current enablers and barriers in key Member States, drawing from a recent report by smartEn and DNV.
